How does the 50/50 revenue share work?
Net revenue is split equally. We handle all AI infrastructure costs (hosting, API usage, development). You handle domain-specific costs (marketing, sales, customer acquisition). Revenue is tracked transparently via shared dashboards — both parties see everything.
What makes a strong Venture Partnership application?
We look for deep domain expertise in a specific vertical, an existing customer base or clear path to customers, a business model where AI creates a genuine competitive moat, and founders who understand their market well enough to guide product decisions. We're selective because we're investing our most valuable resource — engineering time.
What's the 24-month commitment about?
Building and scaling an AI-native business takes time. The 24-month minimum ensures both parties are committed to long-term success, not short-term gains. After 24 months, either party can renegotiate terms or transition to a different arrangement. The goal is to build something that compounds over time.
Who owns the intellectual property?
Jointly. The business-specific AI systems, training data, and customer relationships are shared assets. Our underlying SDK modules and frameworks remain our IP (which we use across all engagements). Your domain expertise, brand, and customer relationships remain yours. Clear IP boundaries are defined in the partnership agreement.
How many Venture Partnerships do you take?
Very few — typically 1-2 at a time. Each partnership requires significant ongoing investment from our engineering team. We're selective because we need to ensure we can deliver the level of commitment each partner deserves. If we're currently at capacity, we'll let you know and offer to start with an Empowerment or Growth engagement instead.
